Gardens2you At The Southport Flower Show
We had the great pleasure in being asked to exhibit at this year’s Southport Flower Show at Victoria Park. It was an exciting and busy time over the show’s four and we thought we would share some of our highlights, along with some pictures of our busy stand there.
The show is the countries longest running independent flower show which started in 1924 and has been held in August every year since at Victoria Park in the town centre. The show has grown over the past few years and now attracts over 80,000 visitors through the gates. There is everything from professionally designed show gardens to floral marquees packed full of the latest and best loved varities of plants and flowers.
This is one of our favourite stands in the grand floral marquee, a tower of sunflower flowers picked at their peak and they looked amazing!
Along side the professional growers at the show there was also an amateur growers marquee packed full of flowers, plants and produce grown and produced by amateur gardeners. Nothing amateur about the results though and this stunning Dahlia was one of the award winners.
We loved this display at the show, it featured a new take on green living with this dinning table set out that look good enough to eat!
There were many stunning show gardens at The Southport Flower Show, but this slate garden really stood out as an amazing garden that we would love to have in our own back yard. Hours of work went into creating this garden for the four days of the show and its use of slate and subtle plant material won it many special awards from the judges.
Of course the highlight for pretty much everyone was their trip to our stand 😉 and we had some great feedback from current and new customers.
One customer was even quoted saying ‘this stand has made my day at the show!’ Is there better feedback than that? I think not.
Hope to see you all next year!
